This is the first book I have read by Ivy and I loved Lex and Carter’s story’s so much 💜 it was the perfect love story!

Lex is beautiful inside and out. She has a heart of gold and will go out of her way to help the ones she’s loves but they always leave once they’ve got what they wanted and because of that she doesn’t like to get close to anyone because she thinks they will leave to. What happens when she meets Carter at a bar and has a one night stand before she moves out of the city to start a new career at The Estate? The Estate she doesn’t know Carter owns.

Carter has had a hard childhood, with his mum passing due to complications in giving birth to him and his dad resenting him for it. He is brought up by his grandfather, who Started up the family business in real estate and passes it on to Carter’s dad Sean who then makes Carter give up his dream career to come into the family business with him. Carter isn’t happy about it but does it because that’s what his Granda wants, or was it? He meets Lex and his life changes, he told himself he’d never love again after his ex wife. What happens when everything you tell yourself you won’t, doesn’t go to plan?

There is loads of twist and turns in this book I didn’t see coming! I was in shock and wanted to throw my phone a few time. I laughed, I cried and I screamed at this book! I loved this story so much and i see a lot of myself in Lex and I totally got how she felt!
