The Wicked Aftermath is an emotionally gripping story of love and loss.
The storyline is absolutely amazing and beautiful. This book just tuged my heart. It was very emotionally charged and heartwrenching. This book is not only book once you start this journey you will not be able to put it down.
Not only Tank and Leah’s Story is so emotional, also the Wickeds and Dark knights embrace and support them that we will feel it in a deep soul.
Tank is protective towards anyone in his family and among the community. Leah seems a little gun shy. When tragedy hits Tank and Leah both needs to learn how to breathe.
Tank is all about family and the Club, his tattoo shop and motorcycles. He carries sadness deep inside since his sister Ashley died. Leah’s is been on his mind since he met her and intrigued him. One night he finally gets to meet her for real and in a dark moment; his own life changes along with her.
Now let me tell you I love the relationship Leah had with his brother river and his girls. His daughters Junie and Rosie were adorable and cutest little ones. They make each and every moment happier and the way they say Papa Tank has my heart. Oh and also Leah makes those beautiful memory blankets which was so amazing.
She’d embroidered their names and the names of each of his family members on leaves, including River. Along the bottom of the blanket were “THE DARK KNIGHTS AT BAYSIDE, a Motorcycle, and LOVE, LOYALTY, AND RESPECT FOR ALL.
The way Tank takes cares of those little munchkins was really adorable, Junie was wiser one and rosie was bubbly and sweet.
“But I’m not a career firefighter. I’m a biker and a tattoo artist. And more importantly, I’m your man and Papa Tank to the girls.”
I laughed, cried and loved each and every moment of them together and the romance was also so passionate. I absolutely loved it. Five stars is simply not enough for this book.
“Marry me, Lee. Let me be Papa Tank for real . We’ll have more babies with wild hair who ask too many questions and ruin dates, only to make them twice as good as they would have been.”
The most emotional book by Melissa Foster and I simply can’t have enough of her. Trust me you don’t want to miss this one fantastic novel.
